An estimated six out of ten women globally will experience physical or sexual violence in their lifetime. Violence against women in the Caribbean is pervasive but vastly underreported. Unequal power relations between women and men fuel violence against women and girls to the detriment of livelihoods, human rights, conservation and sustainable development.
These lists of gender-based violence (GBV) service providers are a resource for Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) grantees in the Caribbean Islands. All grantees are required to include the contact details of GBV service providers in their grievance redress mechanism (GRM) for project workers, community members and other stakeholders.
