The course targeted civil society and other stakeholders in the use and promotion of information from the Grenada NEA based on mechanisms and techniques from CANARI’s advocacy toolkit and communication toolkit. The sessions focused on the design and implementation of two communication campaigns based on key messages and information from the Grenada NEA: mangrove conservation and ‘de-bushing’ reform (vegetation clearing). These two draft campaigns will be further developed post-course.
The course also included a ‘clinic’ session which provided feedback to participants on their own existing campaigns.
