The Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI) is the Regional Implementation Team (RIT) for the CEPF Caribbean Phase II investment (2021 – 2027).
In its role as the RIT, CANARI provides strategic leadership for the implementation of the fund and supports civil society organisations to design, execute and replicate successful conservation projects in line with CEPF’s strategy for the region, as outlined in the CEPF Ecosystem Profile.
The RIT also manages the CEPF small grant mechanism, monitors and evaluates all grants and supports the CEPF Secretariat in portfolio level monitoring and evaluation.
The team consists of CANARI staff members based in Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Saint Vincent & the Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago.
