A key element of our work at CANARI is providing and facilitating the exchange of timely information based on our research and vast experience working with stakeholders throughout the Caribbean on natural resource management issues. The development of a wide range of information products is an essential part of sharing what we learn. Advancing the implementation of the Escazu Agreement in Latin America and the Caribbean, promoting access to justice in climate issues
This project strengthened understanding and application of the Escazú Agreement across the Caribbean while building the capacity of environmental lawyers to utilise climate litigation and strategic legal advocacy. Through regional training and stakeholder engagement, the project advanced access to justice and strengthened awareness of environmental rights.

EnviroRightsTT: Building civil society capacity to access information, participate in policymaking and access justice in environmental matters in Trinidad and Tobago
EnviroRightsTT strengthens environmental governance in Trinidad and Tobago by building the capacity of civil society organisations, environmental defenders, journalists and legal practitioners to exercise environmental rights. Through training, awareness raising, networking and practical support, the project promotes greater access to environmental information, meaningful public participation and access to environmental justice.

Powering Innovations in Civil Society and Enterprises for Sustainability in the Caribbean (PISCES) 2017 – 2021
PISCES supported regional advocacy and awareness raising on the Escazú Agreement through campaigns, case studies and citizen journalism initiatives. The project helped increase understanding of environmental rights and amplified Caribbean voices in discussions on environmental governance and sustainable development.
