A call for bold action and leadership – protecting our environment and securing a sustainable future

Port-of-Spain, May 21, 2025 – A new Government has assumed office in Trinidad and Tobago, and with it comes a renewed sense of possibility and hope. We extend our congratulations to the newly elected and appointed leaders and commend their dedication to serving the people of Trinidad and Tobago.

As civil society organisations and other stakeholders across Trinidad and Tobago, we call on the new administration to take immediate, concrete steps to protect our natural resources and uphold our right to a healthy environment.
