Civil society organisations (CSOs) working on environmental management across Trinidad and Tobago and other interested CSOs, are calling on the Government of the Republic Trinidad and Tobago to signal its commitment to good environmental governance by signing and ratifying the Escazú Agreement.

The Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI) today (September 6, 2019) hand-delivered an open letter – with the signatures of 60 CSOs – on this to the Office of the Prime Minister, St Clair, urging action at the upcoming 74th United Nations General Assembly in New York later this month.
