World Bank hosts implementation support mission in Jamaica

Port of Spain, 28 June 2023 – From 27 February to 2 March 2023, the World Bank carried out its first in-person implementation support mission of the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) Caribbean Islands Hotspot Project alongside members of the CEPF Secretariat and the Caribbean Regional Implementation Team (RIT) with virtual participation of the Collaborative Social Accountability Team (CSAT).

The mission took place in Jamaica and included a two-day dedicated review of the implementation of the CEPF Caribbean Phase II project to gauge progress, identify gaps and discuss next steps, as well as a site-based component that gave the World Bank and CEPF representatives an opportunity to interact directly with grantees and tour project sites.
