Port-of-Spain, December 18, 2024 – The Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI) has received funding from the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund, co-financed by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection, through KfW, to implement the project ‘Advancing the Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries for Resilient Caribbean Coastal Communities and Livelihoods.’
The project aims to enhance climate change adaptation, conservation, and the sustainable management of small-scale fisheries using the Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries (EAF) in Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago.
CANARI now invites qualified consultants—individuals or firms—to submit a technical and financial proposal for the position of Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries (EAF) Specialist under the project.
Interested candidates are encouraged to carefully review the detailed Request for Proposal (RfP) and Terms of Reference (ToR) before applying.
Applications should be submitted via email to the Executive Director, CANARI, at info@canari.org, with the subject line “RE: EAF Specialist – CBF EbA Facility EAF Project.” The deadline for submission is 11:59 pm Atlantic Standard Time (AST) on Friday, January 31, 2025.
