Port of Spain, January 11, 2022 – In confronting the contemporary challenges of poverty and inequality, biodiversity collapse and the climate crisis, we have opportunities to radically change the way we manage the environment, pursue economic development and seek a more just and equitable society. The Caribbean Natural Resources Institute’s new 10-year strategic plan (2021-2030) sets out our response to these challenges’ cumulative and individual impacts and outlines how we intend to work with our partners to create a more equitable, resilient and sustainable Caribbean.
