CANARI Partners Forum
Towards climate justice in the Caribbean: building understanding and catalysing partnerships and finance
19–20 January 2026 | Barbados
The Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI)’s Partners Forum is a convening of Caribbean civil society, environmental defenders, legal practitioners, climate finance experts, funders and technical partners working to advance climate justice in the region.
Held in Barbados over two days, the Forum provides a dedicated space for dialogue, shared learning and strategic reflection on climate justice as a core development, human rights and resilience issue for the Caribbean. It centres Caribbean voices, lived experience and legal expertise, recognising these as essential to shaping effective climate justice responses for the region. The focus is on deepening understanding and identifying practical pathways for coordinated partnerships and just, accessible climate finance.
