Sasha Jattansingh, Senior Technical Officer
Sasha Jattansingh has a diverse background in environmental science, engineering and policy with over ten years’ experience in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean in climate change adaptation and mitigation, environmental policy and civil society governance. She also brings cross-cutting experience in the areas of capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, science communication and knowledge management.
Sasha is passionate about participatory environmental governance and supporting evidence-based policy making for managing our natural resources in the Caribbean. She is currently working on CANARI’s Green Economy Programme which seeks to transform Caribbean economies into becoming more inclusive, resilient and sustainable.
Sasha has an MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation, London School of Economics and Political Science, UK 2015; Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering, University of Auckland, New Zealand 2009; Master of Engineering Studies in Environmental Engineering, University of Auckland, New Zealand, 2008; and a BSc in Environmental Science, University of Toronto, Canada, 2005.
