Neema Ramlogan, Technical Officer
Neema has a background in biology, natural resource and environmental management, with a speciality in coastal and natural resource management. She has gained an interest in stakeholder engagement and experience in fisheries and marine conservation, having worked with many fisherfolk in the Eastern Caribbean region. She has also worked in areas of agricultural policy.
Neema is passionate about science and being outdoors, but also appreciates the value of building the capacity of resource users to be stewards for conservation. She sees innovation, education and effective science communication as important to finding creative solutions to issues of natural resource and environmental management.
Neema has an MSc in Natural Resource and Environmental Management with a specialization in Coastal and Marine Resource Management, 2016, Centre for Resource Management and Environmental Studies, University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados; and a B.Sc Biology with minors in Environmental Biology and Marine Biology, 2012, University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad.
