Tighe Geoghegan has worked in the field of sustainable development for many years. She has been associated with CANARI throughout its history, first as a member of staff and more recently as a CANARI Associate. Over the course of her career, Tighe has supported sustainable development from many angles, from protected area financing to forest management to climate change adaptation; and from support to small-scale enterprise to international policy. Most of her work over the past decade has focused on global sustainable development issues, but what she knows about development still mainly comes from her work in the Caribbean. She is currently a Senior Associate of the London-based International Institute for Environment and Development and also works as an independent consultant.
